Ash Parish Council

Ash Parish Council had another successful year in the Guildford In Bloom competition. For the fourth year running, the Council walked away with the top award in the Best Kept Parish category, beating all the other Parishes in the Guildford Borough area. This is a fantastic achievement and is due not only because of the commitment that the Members of the Council have to the Parish, but also the hard work and professionalism by the ground staff who are employed by the Council.

Ash Walsh Church of England Junior school achieved a Silver award in the Best school garden category. This was an excellent achievement considering this was the first time the school had entered the competition.

Tilthams Garage in Ash Street, gained a Silver award in the best business category and Mrs Worswick, a resident of Ash, was awarded Silver Gilt for the Best Small Residential Garden.
