Ash Community Policing Hub

Ash Community Policing Hub

Introducing the ASH COMMUNITY POLICING HUB!

At 12:00 pm (Midday) on Tuesday 9th Sept, we will be opening the Community Policing Hub at The Ash Centre, Ash Hill Road.

This is a new office/drop-in location where once a week residents can come and speak with their local officers face-to-face. They can discuss issues affecting their community like anti-social behaviour or to report crimes.

Ash is a busy, diverse, and vibrant community and although we have many ways to report crime and ASB, we also understand that some people may be unable or would prefer to see officers in person. We are hoping that this location will enable those who previously could not or did not feel comfortable reporting issues, to have somewhere local they can attend and speak in confidence.

This will be staffed by two officers, a PC – Neighbourhood Specialist Officer (NSO) and a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), EVERY TUESDAY BETWEEN 1200-1600 hours. We understand it would be great if this could be longer and across multiple days. However, this is an initial trial period and will be reviewed.

This has all been made possible with the help of Ash Parish Council and The Ash Centre!
