Guildford Borough Council invite you to attend a public information event where you can find out more about the proposed road bridge over the railway line to the south of the existing level crossing at Ash Railway Station.
The new road bridge will provide the following benefits;
it will make crossing the road safer for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists;
it will improve local journey times by easing traffic congestion around the station;
it will ensure that any future increased use of the station, following additional local housing, will not impact on traffic congestion.
The existing level crossing will be closed following construction of the proposed road bridge.
Two events are being held:
Wednesday 23rd January 2019, between 3:00pm and 7:00pm at The Ash Centre, Ash Hill Road, Ash, GU12 5DP.
Thursday 24th January 2019, between 4:00pm and 8:00pm at The Ash Centre, Ash Hill Road, Ash, GU12 5DP.
If you are unable to attend and would like more information on the project, please email Guildford BC – Major Projects.
