Ash Village Fete 2018

Ash Parish Council will this year be holding its annual Village Fete on Saturday 14 July 2018 from 12 noon to 4pm.

There will be the Ash in Bloom 2018 Open Classes, within the Ash Centre. These include flower, vegetable, flower arranging, craft, baking and photographic competitions.

The competitions will include the following:

FLOWER CLASSES
Lilies.
Pinks.
Cut Flowers.

FRUIT & VEGETABLE CLASSES
A Collection of Vegetables.
Carrots.
Tomatoes.
Soft Mixed Fruit.
Chilli.
Rhubarb.
Bouquet Garni.

FLOWER ARRANGING
11th Hour – Peace at Last 1918.
The Colours of the Rainbow.
Each little Flower That Opens.

CRAFT
A hand knitted or crocheted garment for a baby or child.
A tote bag made from Recycled Material.
A photograph entitled “Sunset”.

BAKING
3 cheese scones.
4 pieces of “no bake” tray bake.
4 decorated cup cakes.
1 jar of homemade preserve.

JUNIOR CLASSES
Collage of a Farm.
A Decorated Gingerbread Person.

OUTSIDE EVENTS
During the afternoon there will be various events and attractions including;
Stalls – with games, tombola’s raffles and much more.
A Beer and Wine Tent.
A BBQ.
An Open Dog Show with the following fun classes;
Best Girl Dog;
Best Boy Dog;
Golden Oldie – for dogs over 7 years;
Best Trick;
Best Child Handler;
Best Rescue Dog;
Best Fancy Dressed Dog.
(Dog Show organised by and all dog show proceeds go to Chimney Farm International Dog Rescue)

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS – (Subject to final confirmation)

Radio Frimley Park Outside Broadcast Unit.

The afternoon will be officially opened by The Chairman of Ash Parish Council, Cllr Nigel Manning at 12:15.
