DISPERSAL ORDER – ASH WHARF

DISPERSAL ORDER – ASH WHARF EXTENDED TILL 14 JULY 2021

Due to ongoing anti-social behaviour in the above area Surrey Police have decided to issue a dispersal order for the area above under Section 34 of The Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

The order will be active every day between 1400 hours and midnight from the 15 June 2021 until 14 July 2021

During these times Surrey Police can direct a person to leave the designated area and not return for up to 48 hours, if they have reasonable grounds to suspect that the behaviour of a person in the area has contributed or is likely to contribute to members of the public in the area being alarmed, harassed or distressed or due to the occurrence in the area of crime and disorder.

Failure to comply with an order to disperse or returning to the area whilst excluded is a criminal offence.

A Police Officer may also return to their homes, young people under the age of 16 who are unsupervised in public places after 9pm.
