Guildford Borough Council : Available Funding For Guildford Borough’s Community Projects
This Autumn, we’re launching a new round of funding through Crowdfund Guildford. To support our communities, we’ll be offering up to £5K funding for community led projects that helps Guildford thrive. The new round will open on 3 October 2023. Our funding is supported by the UK Share Prosperity Fund.
Crowdfund Guildford is a special project for Guildford borough residents. In today’s evolving world where communities play a vital role, we want to empower local initiatives to help local people. Through Crowdfund Guildford, we can do just that!
We are teaming up with Spacehive to achieve our goal of supporting ideas that will make our local communities great places to live well. Through the Spacehive platform, local people can showcase their ideas and create positive change.
Leader of the Council and Crowdfund Ambassador, Cllr Julia McShane welcomes project ideas, big or small:
“We’re excited to launch this new round. Guildford is a vibrant community, full of talented, giving individuals with incredible ideas. I invite everyone to join this movement and be part of the positive change happening right here in Guildford. If you have an idea, join our upcoming workshop happening on 3 October.
“Coming to our workshop will demystify the crowdfunding process. We’ll prove to you just how easy it can be, while also assuring you that you’re never alone—both us and the community are here to support you every step of the way.
“We know our communities thrive most when we all come together to support what matters most to them. Through Crowdfund Guildford we contribute not only money to these causes, but helpful advice and tools too. Bring your idea to us and together let’s build an even stronger Guildford, with support for all.”

About Spacehive
Spacehive is a funding platform for ideas that bring local civic and community spaces to life. Its vision is a world where anyone can shape their local area to create places that make people happy, proud and prosperous.
