Lane Closures on A31/A331 Runfold Roundabout, Tongham – Survey Works
Ground penetrating radar survey works on the A331/A31 Runfold Roundabout and site clearance works start on the 18 January during the day.
These clearance works are taking place following carful ecological surveys and need to be completed before bird nesting season starts. The clearance works are needed to make space for the proposed new road layout and to provide visibility splays for the public using the highway. To enable the works to take place safely the “Christmas Pie Cycle route”, will be closed until 29 January, signs for the closure and a diversion route will be erected. If the works are completed prior to the 29 January the path will be reopened and the diversion signs removed.
Works will mostly take place off the carriageway, however a lane closure will be necessary for a small section of this work that is close to the highway. A lane closure is needed so the works can proceed safely.
