Summary of Update:Afternoon closures whilst flying display activities take place at Farnborough Airshow.

Effect on Unpowered Boats (e.g canoes/kayaks/paddleboards:Closed – during the afternoon 15 – 26 July
Full Update:To enable the flying displays at the Farnborough International Airshow, the Canal navigation and towpath will be CLOSED to all users between Eelmoor Bridge and Norris Bridge in Hampshire during the afternoons of 15-26 July.  This is the same as in the last few editions of the airshow and following updated CAA guidance.   Flying / closure times 15 – 20 July 12:00 (noon) to 17:30 21 July – reserve date (no planned closure but may be closed 12:00 (noon) to 17:30 as circumstance require) 22 – 26 July 12:30 to 17:30   Farnborough Airshow will have security guards at each end of the closure, please follow their instruction and who will lift the closure once flying has finished each day. Please plan your use of the canal accordingly.
