Public Footpath No. 350 (Ash) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022

Public Footpath No. 350 (Ash) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2022

On 5 May 2022 Surrey County Council will make a temporary order to prohibit all traffic on foot or any other means from entering or proceeding along Footpath No. 350 (Ash) from a point 90 metres north west of its junction with BOAT 518 (Grid ref. 489356 149793) to its junction with Footpath 351.

The Order is necessary due to resurfacing works taking place on the footpath. It will be in operation from 6 May 2022 until 5 August 2022 or until completion of the works, if earlier, and while the relevant notices are displayed. The Secretary of State for Transport can extend that period if required.

The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the County Council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected. The alternative route from the south eastern end of the closure will be to proceed in a west south westerly direction and then generally north westerly direction along Hop Garden Way to its junction with Hammersley Drive. Turn right onto Hammersley Drive and proceed in a generally easterly direction to its junction with Footpath 351. Turn left on Footpath 351 and proceed in a north easterly direction to the north western end of the closure. The alternative route from the north western end of the closure will be the reverse of the one described above.
