Village Fete 2020 – A Statement from Chairman of the Council, Cllr Nigel Manning
Chairman of Ash Parish Council, Cllr. Nigel Manning, has issued the following statement re the Ash Parish Council Village Fete 2020;
Ash Parish Council have taken the very hard decision, due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, to cancel the Ash Parish Village Fete 2020. It was felt that due to the CURRENT social distancing regulations and ban on gatherings of more than 6 people out doors that it would not be possible to hold the event safely. Even if changes were made to social distancing policy at a future date, there would not be sufficient time to contact all participants.
At the current time it is still anticipated that the Remembrance Sunday Service & Parade and Christmas Fantasia would still go ahead, possibly with Social Distancing Regulations in place, if they are still applicable at the time of EITHER of the events, full details will be placed on the Council website in due course.
We hope to see everybody at the Ash Parish Village Fete 2021
Cllr Nigel Manning, Chairman to the Council
