Ash Centre WiFi

Public Access WiFi is now available at The Ash Centre for users of the Centre.

For full access information, including a unique User Name and Password please contact the Centre Reception.

Please note that Evening and Weekend Staff cannot access the system and therefore cannot provide the details required to enable log-in. If you have an evening or weekend booking and would like to access the Public Access WiFi, please contact the Centre Reception either in person, by telephone on 01252 328287 or e-mail bookings@ashpcsurrey.gov.uk during normal office hours of Monday to Friday between 09:00am and 04:00pm prior to your event.

Do NOT pass on your User Name and/or Password to any other person as these are unique to each user and usage will be monitored.

Ash Parish Council provides free Broadband Wireless Internet access to users of the Ash Centre. You will need a laptop or other wireless enabled device (e.g. a Smartphone or Tablet). You can connect using any standard Internet Browser, no additional software is required.

You are responsible for the configuration, virus protection and use of your own equipment. All users must agree to comply with the Ash Parish Council Public WiFi Terms and Conditions. This policy prohibits abusive or illegal activities whilst using the service.

Printing is not possible on the wireless network. Internet access is filtered and access to websites that are deemed to be inappropriate is blocked.

Support

Please note that Ash Parish Council staff are NOT trained to support users to set up their laptops and other mobile devices to be able to access our WiFi Network. If you haven’t accessed our or any other public WiFi network before and you have problems, then you should refer to your device manual and/or provider.

Health and Safety

If you are plugging into mains power in the Centre please ensure that your cables do not cause a trip hazard. Personal adapters or extension cables cannot be used under any circumstances.

Terms and condition apply to usage and must be accepted (or declined) when logging onto the Service.
