Help Us Make Christmas Eve Special – Volunteers & Donations Needed
We’re once again organising and cooking Christmas meals, but please note that this year it will take place on Christmas Eve (24th December) instead of Christmas Day, due to family commitments.
We already have half of the food donated, and we’re still looking for:
- 🥧 Desserts
- 🎂 Christmas mince pies
- 🍰 Christmas cake
- 🍪 Other festive treats
We also urgently need:
- 👩🍳 Volunteers to help cook and pack
- 🚗 Drivers to deliver meals on Christmas Eve
So far, we have around 105 people signed up to receive a meal. Last year, we cooked and delivered 560 meals, and this year we’re preparing for up to 700.
With the ongoing energy crisis and high interest rates, we know many families will be struggling more than ever. That’s why this initiative is so important. We also understand that some people may still prefer not to gather in large halls, so we’re continuing with home deliveries to ensure everyone feels safe and supported.
