🚸 Have your say on a proposed 20mph scheme in Ash!

Surrey County Council is inviting feedback on a proposed 20mph speed limit scheme for the roads serving Shawfield Primary School, Ash. The engagement is open to all road users, including families who travel to and from school.

Lower speed limits in residential and school areas can help:

  • Improve safety for children and pedestrians
  • Reduce the risk and severity of collisions
  • Create a calmer, more pleasant environment for everyone

You can view the proposal and share your views online:

The website also includes a short video explaining the benefits of 20mph schemes and how they can positively impact local communities.

While letters have been sent to residents on the affected roads, not all families within the school catchment area will receive one.   We encourage everyone to take part in the engagement. Whether you support the scheme or have concerns, your views matter and will help shape the decisions that follow. Please take a moment to have your say and help us create safer streets for everyone.
