Bridge Works – Onslow Street, Guildford

Please note the upcoming bridge works on Onslow Street, Guildford. These works are to carry out vital repairs on the bridge and replace bearings to prevent long-term damage.

To complete these works safely, we need to implement both pedestrian diversions and night-time road closures.

The attached resident letter is being delivered this week along with road signs.

Please see below for dates:

Footway closures

West pedestrian closure:  14 weeks – Monday 8 June – Friday 11 September

East pedestrian closure: 3 weeks – Monday 22 June – Friday 10 July

Night-time road closures

Onslow Road will be fully closed between 8pm and 6am on the dates below:

Tuesday 30 June for 2 nights

Monday 13 July for 2 nights

Monday 27 July for 2 nights

Monday 10 August for 2 nights

We will update the signs for each closure accordingly.
