Saturday 28 November 2026 marks the start of Ash’s festive countdown to Christmas.

The Ash Centre will be transformed into a bustling Christmas Market, with local charities, community organisations and businesses offering a variety of stalls, games, seasonal treats and unique gifts. The market opens at 1pm and entry is free. All stallholder fees will be donated to the Council’s chosen Charity of the Year, The Ashes Good Neighbours Scheme.

Would you like to have a stall at the Christmas Market? Stalls are available for £15 each. Registered charities are entitled to one free stall. To apply, please complete the form below and return it to events@ashpcsurrey.gov.uk. Alternatively, completed forms can be delivered to the Parish Council reception, which is open Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm.

At 4.30pm, following the close of the market, residents are invited to gather around the village Christmas Tree for a community carol singing celebration accompanied by the Ash Vale Ensemble. Father Christmas will then make a special appearance to switch on the Christmas tree lights and officially welcome the festive season to Ash.

Please note that Ash Wharf Road will be closed between 4pm and 6pm to facilitate this event. Advance road closure notices will be displayed locally.
