Flags On Ash Parish Council Property

Dear Residents,

We are aware that flags have been attached to lighting columns belonging to Ash Parish Council.

We would like to reiterate that items should not be attached to any council owned property without prior consent from the Parish Council or its authorised contractors. We would also strongly discourage residents from attempting to attach items themselves due to the potential safety risks involved.

Our streetlighting contractors have confirmed that they are not able to remove such items as part of their service, and our staff are similarly unable to do so for health and safety reasons.

Residents are, of course, free to display flags on their own property, subject to any relevant planning or highways legislation.
