Hedgehog Highway Project

Hedgehog Highway Project

The Clerk at Ash Parish Council (APC), Alison Watmore, was joined on a visit to Ash Walsh Junior School by Cllr John Tonks this afternoon to meet with Headteacher, Mr P Bailey.

As part of the Council’s objective to promote Biodiversity within the Parish, the Council is supporting the Hedgehog Highway Project by donating “Hedgehog Highway Surrounds” and Hedgehog Houses. A Hedgehog Highway is a 5-inch gap in a fence or wall allowing access for Hedgehogs. They are also known as ‘Hedgehog Hole’, ‘Hedgehog Tunnel’.

Will you join in the battle to prevent the extinction of Hedgehogs?
