Remembrance Sunday Service – 2020
The 2020 Remembrance Sunday Service took place on Sunday 8 November.
Although the Service could not be conducted in the normal way due to Covid 19 restrictions, it took place in dry weather. The Union Flag was carried by David Moyle of the Scout Association.
The congregation was led by the Chairman of Ash Parish Council, Cllr Nigel Manning and the Parish Clerk, Dennis Wheeler. They were accompanied by Michael Gove. Also in attendance were representatives from St John Ambulance, the Scout and Girl Guide Associations. Wreaths where laid before the service by those organisations unable to attend.
The Service was conducted by Father Keith Bristow and the music provided by Friary Brass Band.
