 Area(s) Affected:Mytchett Pound: Lock 29 (Ash Lock, Hampshire) to Lock 28 (Deepcut, Surrey) 
 Summary of update (s):Due to ongoing low water levels, the Mytchett pound will be closed to all unpowered (i.e. rowing boats, pedalos, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and all other inflatable craft) until further notice. All forms of boat hire from the Canal Centre are therefore unavailable until further notice. Existing closure to all powered craft remains in place.

 Effect on unpowered boats e.g. canoes / kayaks /paddleboards:Closed     
 Additional details:There is around 23 miles of alternative suitable areas on the Basingstoke Canal to use unpowered crafts such as canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards:   The Hampshire Pound: Greywell to Lock 29 Ash Lock The Hermitage Pound: Locks 11 – 12 The Woking Pound: Locks 6 – 7
