Residents vote in favour of Ash Neighbourhood Plan
Residents in Ash Parish have voted in favour of the Ash Neighbourhood Plan at a referendum held yesterday (Thursday 29 October 2026).
The referendum result was:
- Yes: 1915
- No: 236
- Turnout: 14.13%
The positive referendum result means the Ash Neighbourhood Plan forms part of the Council’s statutory Development Plan and will be used in determining planning applications within the parish.
Guildford Borough Council will now begin the formal process of adopting the Neighbourhood Plan.
