Road Closed – Poyle Road, Tongham – Improvement Works

We are writing to update you regarding a change with the current improvement works taking place along Poyle Road. Due to the nature of the work, we have been informed there is a need to carry out the road resurfacing works at night. Please see attached copy of the update letter.

These works will take place on Thursday 23 October – Night – 8pm to 10pm, with Friday 24 October as contingency if bad weather occurs on Thursday that prevents the resurfacing works from taking place. Works will then take place during the daytime on Friday 24 October until 8pm.

Due to the nature of the works and available road width, Poyle Road will continue to be closed to through traffic 24 hours a day until approximately 8pm on Friday 24 October. A signed diversion is in place.

Sometimes our plans must change, often due to bad weather or problems on other works in the same programme which can have a knock-on effect. If anything changes with the details of these works, we will let you know.
