Frimley Road (B3411) Ash Vale
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Frimley Road (B3411) Ash Vale as extends from its junction with (B3166) Lysons Avenue to its junction with the (X7213) Winter Close. Alternative Route: (B3411) Frimley Road, (B3165) Stratford Road, (B3166) Lynchford Road, and (B3166) Lysons Avenue, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of Clancy. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 weeks, between the hours of 8am and 11.59pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 19 October 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.
