Townpath (T7046) From 111 Longacre to 135 Longacre, Ash
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from entering or proceeding on foot or by any other means in the entire length of the Townpath (T7046) From 111 Longacre to 135 Longacre, Ash.  Alternative Route for Pedestrians Only: Longacre. This Order is required to facilitate excavating and installing duct connection utility works for, or on behalf of Traffic Control 123 Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 10 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm, during the 6-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 09 September 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.
