Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Vale Road (B3411) Ash Vale that is crossed under the bridge known as “Vale Road” PAA1 23/6 and for a distance of 20 metres either side. Alternative Route: (B3411) Vale Road, (B3166) Lysons Avenue, (B3166) Lynchford Road, (B3166) Lynchford Road, (A331) Blackwater Valley Road, (A323) Aldershot Road, (A323) Ash Street, (A323) Ash Church Road, (A323) Guildford Road, (B3411) Ash Hill Road, and (B3411) Vale Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate maintenance works for, or on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 24 hours, between the hours of 01.55am and 23.59pm, during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 16 March 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. No sole property is affected by this closure.
