A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the Ash Centre on Thursday, 8th May 2025, to mark the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day.
We were thrilled with the fantastic turnout! Residents were welcomed with light refreshments, sandwiches, jelly, and of course… CAKE! 
The event featured a touching display of artifacts from the Ash Museum, and the powerful Peace Day Poppy Wall, which maps the names and homes of all the brave soldiers from Ash who gave their lives in WWI and WWII.
It was a day of remembrance, reflection, and community spirit.
