Christmas Fantasia 2016 took place on Saturday 26th November, at the Ash Centre and on Ash Wharf. The event was once again supported by many local businesses and organisations.
This years Remembrance Day Parade and Service took place on Sunday, 13 November.
The parade from the Ash Centre to the Ash War Memorial was led by lone piper, Euan McDermott. The Union Flag was carried by representatives from the 1st Ash Vale Scouts.
The first ever Ash Parish Council Village Fete was held on Saturday 18th June. This new event was organised by the staff and councillors of Ash Parish Council and held at the Ash Centre and the adjacent Recreation Ground in Ash Hill Road, Ash.
Christmas Fantasia 2015 took place on Saturday 28th November, at the Ash Centre and also on Ash Wharf. The event was once again supported by many local businesses and organisations.
Saturday 21st November saw a second visit this year, and a fourth visit in all by the Friary Guildford Brass Band for a traditional Brass Band Concert.
The Concert was once again sponsored by the Ash and Blackwater Valley Rotary Club and all proceeds from the concert are to be donated to the Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.
This years Remembrance Day Parade and Service took place on Sunday, 9th November. Although not as sunny as the last two years, the rain did hold off for the duration of the Service and Parade.
The parade from the Ash Centre to the Ash War Memorial was led by lone piper, Euan McDermott. The Union Flag was carried by representatives from the Girl Guides.
Saturday 12 September saw a first for Ash Parish Council with a Picnic in the Park concert given by the Friary Guildford Brass Band.
Although the afternoon was on the chilly side over 350 people came along and enjoyed the concert.
